Beresfield and Thornton
The Parish of Beresfield and Thornton is an Anglican community of Christians of all ages seeking to worship God, grow in faith and serve the people of our local area.
We cover the areas of Beresfield, Tarro, Thornton, Woodberry and Chisholm but welcome people from across the Hunter Region who travel to worship and share in our life. We have two centres, St Pauls at Beresfield and St Michael and all Angels at Thornton.
This website are designed to help you to find out more about our busy parish, but the best way to experience our community is to come along and join us for worship one weekend.
We hold weekly Sunday services at both Churches and once a month a Saturday evening at St Michaels Thornton. We also hold a single service on the 5th Sunday of a month so the whole Parish can join together as one.
